Dr Intan (MB ChB, FRNZCGP) is a General Practitioner with a special interest in aesthetic medicine, bringing over a decade of medical experience in Christchurch to her cosmetic practice. Her approach is grounded in strong clinical expertise, safety, and a careful, individualised assessment of every patient.

After completing her medical degree at the University of Otago, she worked across hospital and community settings in Christchurch and Australia, gaining broad experience in acute, chronic, and primary care before returning to specialise in General Practice. As a Fellow of the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners (FRNZCGP), her career has been built on trust, patient advocacy, and holistic care.

Driven by a longstanding passion for skin health and supported by a Diploma in Dermatology, Dr Intan founded Iris Clinic to deliver refined, doctor-led treatments with precision and discretion. She believes aesthetic medicine should be subtle and never obvious. Every treatment plan is thoughtfully tailored to your facial structure, goals, and lifestyle, ensuring results that feel balanced, refreshed, and authentically you.

As a doctor-led practice, patient wellbeing comes first. Treatments are performed using approved products and evidence-based techniques, with a strong emphasis on safety, anatomical understanding, and long-term skin health. Dr Intan is currently undertaking advanced cosmetic medicine training with the New Zealand Society of Cosmetic Medicine, ensuring her practice reflects the highest professional and safety standards.
